Exponential Functions

Concept:

An exponential function is a function of the form f(x) =lbkx. Here, l, b, and k are all constants. b is called the base, and can assume any positive value other than 1, l is a multiplier that can be any positive number, and k can be any non-zero real number, positive or negative. A special value for b is 2.718281828459… and is denoted e, after Leonhard Euler, a famous 18th century Swiss mathematician.
